Dear Eagle Chamber of Commerce Members,
I’m grateful for the opportunity to submit this letter of intention to become an Eagle of Chamber Commerce Board Member. I think it’s important that I share some of my personal background and experience with you. In 1989, I was blessed to call Eagle, Idaho, my home, knowing I could raise my family and continue my journey as a mother and entrepreneur. My mother and I moved to Idaho in 1978 with 14 boxes and 2 bicycles from Rhode Island. We were true pioneers, not knowing what lay ahead. Becoming a golden girl at Capital High School was a life game-changer. Raised as an only child, I lacked the understanding of teamwork and the power of collaboration. Quickly, I fell in love with the realization that each of us is a beautiful color in a crayon box, and together our creation is limitless. In 2005, US News & World Report named Idaho the most entrepreneurial state in the US. It was such an honor to have my company, SunnRooibos, chosen as the centerfold article. Overnight,30 million business leaders worldwide learned about our lovely city. My love and dedication to our city of Eagle, Idaho, give me hope every day and foster my belief in humanity. This year, I joined the Eagle Chamber of Commerce, fulfilling a promise to Brandy years ago that, once ReddRox Films was ready to launch, I would come home. Recently, you may have received a notice from the Eagle Chamber titled “Let’s Bring Our Children Home Together,” a call to action, finding our Idaho missing children, starting with Michael Vaughn.
